BANT is a decades-old sales method for qualifying leads on four dimensions: does the prospect have Budget? Are they the right Authority (decision-maker)? Is there real Need? What's the Timeline?
In modern B2B with large buying committees, BANT is often replaced by richer frameworks like MEDDIC or SPICED, but it remains a useful first filter for SDR qualification.
